HERE is my very first pic monkey TUTORIAL.
HOW TO MAKE ANY FONT GOLD/SILVER/ROSE GOLD.
I apologize in advance for my low volume in the video as I was speaking in a public library.
I hope you find this helpful, if you have any questions feel free to contact me and i will help in any way I can.
Not only am I a harry potter fan but I am utterly obsessed with the Universal studios “Butter beer drink” after lots of trial and error I have discovered how to make this drink at home while sparing the trip to Universal studios. Here is how I do it…
First these are the things you will need:
1. Bottled Cream Soda ( for the soda)( 1 12oz CHILLED BOTTLE )
2. Imitation butterscotch flavoring ( for the soda ) (1tsp)
3.heavy whipping cream ( for the foam) (2c)
4. Sugar (6tbs)
5. Vanilla (2 1/2 tsp)
6. Imitation butter/ butterscotch (Using it AGAIN for the foam) (2tsp)
Ok now heres how to do it: (Btw I learned from http://www.Thelinkfairy.com)
How to make the FOAM:
In a large bowl, Whip the heavy cream on medium-high speed for 3-4 mins or until it starts to thicken. Then, add the sugar and continue whipping until soft ( should take another 3-4 mins) . Then, stir in the vanilla and imitation butter flavor. Whip for another minute.
How to make the BEER:
Using a 16oz glass, place imitation butter flavor in glass and then pour the cream soda over it, stir lightly. place a generous amount of foam on top and there you have it, DELICIOUS BUTTER BEER.
It is not uncommon for servers to get undertipped or not tipped at all by their tables, this is due to people being uneducated about the struggles of being a server.
Server DO NOT GET A PAYCHECK. they depend fully on their daily tips.
Servers DO NOT GET ANY BENEFITS, DENTAL, HEALTH EXCT.
The government is expecting everyone to tip their server at least 15%, this is why servers get paid under regular minimum wage in some states this could be as low as $2 an hour. Yet, included gratuity is illegal? does that make any sense? mhmm it doesn’t to me.
When you don’t tip your server, many of you might not know but this means this poor person is paying out of her/his pocket for your meal. For example, lets say your tab was $100 and you decided to be a douche and leave a $0 tip the person who served you now has to tip out the bartender, food runner, and busser out of that sale which means that depending on the restaurants tip out percentage this server now has to be X amount of order for you and your family to go out to eat, which is not only unfair but should be illegal.
Servers work extremely hard and extreme hours, Most work 12+hour shifts, late night and on the weekends. Keeping them from spending Sunday mornings or weekend or holidays with their families. Servers hold their needs to use the bathroom for hours, in order to give your that napkin you desperately need to live. We sometimes do not get a chance to sit down or even eat a meal throughout a whole 10 hour shift. ( sometimes longer) Servers leave restaurants at extremely late hours and then are expected to come in and open at extremely early hours. Being a server is one of the most deteriorating and harsh jobs on your health and this is mostly because of the long hours and lack of rest.
Servers get blamed for all the mistakes in the restaurant and unfortunately people reflect this on their tip which is also not fair. Your food came out overcooked? took too long? or cold ? well guess who’s not cooking your food ? your server!!! THEREFOR she doesn’t deserve the extra attitude or the undertip.
You might not realize but chances are you’re not the only table your server is attending, DO NOT act like you’re the only person in the restaurant. Servers deal with selfish impatient guest everyday, I am sorry that I couldn’t get you your BBQ sauce under 1 minute there’s 10 other tables that asked me for other things before you. I am ONE person, have some consideration.
Although I understand not everyone has the money to tip and it is in fact a difficult topic it’s the right thing to do. Simply eat at home if you don’t have money to properly tip then you simply don’t have money to be eating out.
I hope this was somewhat informative.
Memorial weekend caught us by surprise this year, with no time to book flights our only option was driving. Living in Florida makes road trips a bit difficult because just getting out of florida can take over 6 hours… That didn’t stop us here is what we managed to book one day before our departure on the road trip of a life time.
First of all, we had to find a pet friendly hotel because with little time to plan we knew we had to take our babies. The select inn hotel is pet friendly and has NO pet fee which was extremely amazing. This is NOT a 5 star hotel but it gets it done, it was pretty clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Our hotel for two nights cost us $114
CAR RENTAL: we always find BUDGET car rental to be the most convenient and pocket friendly. This is because the rental and returning process is extremely easy and fast. our car rental for four days was $104 , see the good thing about BUDGET car rental is that they have UNLIMITED miles which is perfect for road trips. We put 2,300 miles on the car.
This was the car we got, which was GREAT on gas.
Now the most important thing when you don’t have many days of in your destination is time management, make a list of all things you want to do and organize your times depending on what time they open ect.
Here is all the things we managed to do in Tennessee in just 2 days.
ON DAY ONE:
TUCKALEECHEE CAVERNS :
$16 per person, takes about two hours to see it all.
alrighty that was fun… NEXT UP
Cummins Falls.. this is FREE, and amazing. Great views and Great pictures.
Next up: we attended the Country music hall of fame, this is basically a country museum if you’re into that, its $25 pp.
Alrighty, then we enjoyed the night life in Gatlinburg. If you make it there make sure to visit ole Smoky moonshine distillery, stand by the bar and for $5 you can get 13 samples of different moonshine’s, it is most definitely a worthwhile experience.
Alrighty next up:
We stopped by this little adorable place called Tennessee XXX moonshine, here the staff is amazing and the moonshine is even better. They give you as many FREE tasters of moonshine as you’d like.. Just give them a tip, they deserve it.
That was the end of day one… we also did little things like stop and take pictures in random places… I am NOT exactly sure where this was but you can get a very similar view driving by ” The tail of the dragon” which is a famous road with lots of turns. The views are free.
Alrighty now day two:
We woke up as early as 7AM and headed down to burgess falls state park, once again to take a look at a beautiful water fall. (We don’t have many of those down in florida.)
Next we drove to a small winery, again here for $5 you get to taste I believe it was 6 different DELICIOUS wines. This place is called “Cellars winery” you can also buy a bottle of their delicious wine and drink it in their cute backyard accompanied by their cute dogs. haha (Dog lover)
Next up: We did a little more drinking and headed down to the short mountain distillery and had some brownie and moonshine. The moonshine taster here was a bit pricier than at other places but it came with a beautiful view. $10 to pick 4 moonshine of your preference to try. Then, for $12 you get a Groupon which gets you the brownie and a tour of the distillery.
Now our plans for day two where cut short unfortunately, our original plan was to go White water rafting which we found for $17-$30 on Groupon but unfortunately we didn’t reserve with time and all the places where booked since it was a long weekend but it is something we definitely recommend everyone doing.
Anyways, this was our trip it was amazing we hope you visit some of these place while in Tennessee.
& if you’re planning on driving don’t forget to sign in the car 🙂
Thank you for reading enjoy your trip.
Miami is obviously known for its beautiful beaches and sunny weather, but there’s so much more to us than that.
Being in the hospitality business I’m constantly being asked by guest what they should do on their time here, and so I decided to sit down and make a list … with things that google fails to mention but a Miami person knows.
Miami is known for having ONE season, summer, but us Miamians like to make the best out of all the others seasons also. Although our palm trees aren’t dropping their leaf’s anytime soon there’s other things we like to enjoy around this time. Fall in Miami means little pumpkin patches where you can take the kids, it means Pumpkin flavored goodies and Fall decorations.
This fall I decided to take my younger sister to “Pumpkin Patch Miami” where they had inflatable jump houses for the kids, food, stickers and well of course pumpkins and great costumer service. we had a blast. I figured I would write this post to congratulate them on their success and great sense of hospitality.
Thank you, Pumpkin patch Miami.
See you next year!
Keeping a healthy lifestyle is a big part of keeping a healthy relationship. For fun, we like to roller skate whenever we get a chance, its free, it’s romantic and most importantly it’s good for you. We roller skate around the block or around the beach, when we’re feeling adventurous. We have been doing this since the beginning of our relationship and I recommend it to pretty much anyone.
Stay fit bloggers, healthy life!
Much love, F & D
